The HP Designjet 1000 Series Printers offer outstanding performance and high-quality large-format color production for creative professionals and businesses. Designed for engineers, architects, GIS users, retailers, office users, and print service providers. These printers can output an A1/D-size color line drawing in 45 seconds (printing time only, on HP Bright White Inkjet Paper, with draft print quality). "Smart chips" built in to the ink cartridges and printheads help avoid running out of ink unexpectedly. The new HP dual-paper-feed system makes it unnecessary to unload a roll of media to load a cut sheet. These printers are network-ready with a built-in HP Jetdirect EIO network card for fast Ethernet 10/100 Base-TX connectivity. A graphical control-panel design simplifies navigation and provides direct access to key information. The HP Designjet 1000 Series feature true 600-dpi color and addressable 1200-dpi black print resolution.
